@j3butch1 The 427 will indeed be slightly lighter in feel and weight than the 292 fabric.
While the 292 is more of a Western look with the yokes, both of these shirts will follow the CPO standard in terms of fit, the main difference is the corduroy collar and the lack of the yokes on the 427 shirt specifically. Aside from these points, these are both comparable.

Beating myself up over starting the return process on the overdyed version but truth be told it just didn't fit as good as this one. -
@Denimminer this looks great. I have both the 292 and 293 in large. I got the 292 latest release and it fit perfectly. The 293 was bought off someone but wasn’t really worn. It felt somewhat snug and tight in the pits at first. It’s relaxed significantly and the only area that still feels a touch too tight is the top button. Love both pieces so much. Did you end up order a different size?

@jmp777 I did not. I'd like to but I know there is the untucked duck coming out that I really want again. Too many things.

@Yoprst excellent sir

@ZackB Thank you Sir

If this isn’t my favourite IH shirt, it’s damn near close. This one in particular is exactly how I want a CPO to fit.

@americanathreads spot on fit

I just ordered my 1st iron heart shrit the 18oz vintage indigo in medium. It was the last one where i bought it from ! I also orded a 21oz type 3 in medium as well. Black friday sales got me. I figured this is the best 1st iron heart shrit i could do and ive seen awsome fades with this shrit on the internet so i went for it ! Im just hoping medium was the right call because im between medium and large.

Sick man you’re stoked. The 292 is so amazing, and you’re going love both pieces. I did similar with my first 2 IH tops and got the Indigo 14oz type 111 and then the 292 like a week later. That was the start of my addiction lol. I’d say my 292 gets the most compliments from customers at my job, or out and about. -
@meatmarketdenim1 ya im going to wear it like a uniform. As long as it fits keeping my fingers crossed on that aspect. Do you wear yours often as a jacket or a shrit im hoping both fit so i can wear both together. Hows yours fit ?

I am wearing this shirt hard, it seems. Only on wear 25, though I'll keep up with it. It's a nice winter "around the house", though my unfiltered daughter is already saying, "You wear your jeans too much"...

@jrb1975
Mostly as a shirt but def can fit a hoodie or UHF under it -
@doubletee looks like you nailed that shrit perfectly

Hey guys! I have a problem. This picture is over a t-shirt.
When buying it I was assured that washing shouldn't create a problem.
Been loving this shirt since buying! After softening it got even nicer! I always wore it over a thin Ralph Lauren cotton jumper, and sleeves were borderline. Over t-shirt slim but ok.
Decided to wash it. No spin, no dryer, cold water, denim program, still properly dripping water after I pulled it out. Today I put it on and I'm not sure it's wearable... Sleeves over a t-shirt seems slimmer than before washing over a jumper. Adding a picture of how my arms look after trying to stretch elbows a bit.
Any ideas?

Hey guys! Just checking in with my first iron heart purchase! However I think this and 25oz 634 will be my only 2 purchases from iron heart... For trousers I spent a bit trying different cuts And 634 came closest to great. My perfect cut would be straight 888. 634 rise felt a bit low, but 888 perfect top block but almost can't get it over knees and calves.
For shirts...
Love the shirt! Feels really really slim with too long sleeves. For denim I guess it's fine. Some extra cuff and sleeve fades. But that kind makes me think I better stay away from uhf. Oh by the way love the tight armholes! So much more freedom of movement! Denim also feels nice! Like a soft armour!

P.s. yes I know you "can" shorten sleeves, but when you need 1-2" off, you risk ending up with weird placket. Or placket needs to be moved...
P.p.s. my pockets seem fine. Or at least close enough that I can't see anything wrong.
Wanted to quote this...
