I use the unread posts button alot, is it possible to get a [unread posts] button for both parts of the forum (Iron Heart Products + General Stuff) instead of 2 separate ones?

Is it possible to be automatically subscribed to a thread when you post in it rather than having to select notify? I keep forgeting.

Sorry, this is not possible with our forum software at the moment.

Yes, very easy: Profile -> [Modify Profile] -> Notifications -> Turn notification on when you post or reply to a topic

Would it be impossible…..

To divide Buying/Selling section into subcategories, like: IH jeans, IH shirts, IH other stuff,
Other Jeans, Other shirts, Other stuff

This is as busy as the board will ever get; you guys really have problems with finding your way through the 2-3 new topics posted on average in the B/S section?..

making separate cats just for IH and then "other" is too much.  maybe just by clothing type.  the sales traffic doesn't really seem warrant this yet.  it's really not that hard to click & scroll.

what to do with posts that include multiple item types?  would we require people to break out into each cat and then manage more posts?  not a fan.

great point about the mega sales threads, but i do like the idea of stream lining it some how (but that's just cause i'm lazy)

It is fine atm. I am in the B&S area every day and have no issues with it. Maybe to some of the newer users it can be  overwhelming at first but it really has not gotten to the point of being unmanageable. Believe me when I say I am keeping an eye on it and making sure things are properly labeled, w/ photos, measurements, etc. Nameness does a hell of a lot of work in there as well! Definitely good to keep in mind though.
I have been really liking the new Style Forum B&S system. Everything from the weekly auto bumps, photos in the listing title, Easy to add to sig are all incredible. If you have not seen it I highly recommend checking it out.

Tags would be great for the forum in general IMO. Is this possible Shoque?

people could just start using hashtags for their posts if desired

a list of recommended tags could be created
one for each item, some tags applicable to B&S, waywt tag, etc

then search using hashtags
