Hang in there! People say these are a slow fader, but I’m quite surprised at the amount of fading I achieved in just six months with every day wear.

One year update!

In two days I will have owned these jeans for one year. Bought them in Berlin I October last year and wore them daily for seven months straight before the first wash.

I aired them out frequently and spot cleaned when needed.

Over the summer I’ve mostly been wearing shorts but now I’ve been back in them for a couple of months. So all in all I think these have seen around 9 months of every day wear.

I bike for at least half an hour every day and often more so the seat area gets beat up quite a lot.

Recently I did a sashiko repair along the edge of the right back pocket. It’s where I keep my phone most of the time. And combined with my biking habits a tear was beginning to form.

Hope you like my progress. And I can’t wait to see how they look same time next year!!

@Asger-Ebdrup wow those look great there fading well. Can i ask you how those overdyed indigo start out. For instance are they anything like the superblack sbg's being super soft and pliable or are they stiffer like the 777 25oz raw jeans unwashed i want to purchase those depending on how they start off. Yours look like they have a lot of life in them even after all those wears.

They start out quite soft. I think the overdying process takes out the “new and stiff” feeling of the fabric.
I love IHs overdyed fabrics!
