I love the 888 but will be moving on to the 634 cut afterwards. I have a few pair in 634 waiting for me next.

@Oaktavia I hear you there. I picked up a pear of XHS634ibs in Osaka and the cut is super comfortable.

@kojimastreets oh for sure and that's rad you were able to go there. I dig the 888 but I'm pretty skinny and don't fill them out in the trunk or thighs. The mid rise of 634 works better for me and straight cut down I think just feels and looks a nice silhouette.

@Oaktavia speaking of different cuts...I was analyzing measurements on the 633 compared to the 888 just to see what they were all about and I think thats where I'd have a problem with anything but the 888. I dont think I could lose any butt/thigh space or I'd have to size up. I've already been sizing up in the 888 compared to my first pair....

@WhiskeySandwich I picked them up in Gosport back in Sept 2024 for the party. Crazy how to time flies. The whiskers definitely are super crunchy when they are developing and hold their shape like heavy paper with UHR. It's crazy how stiff they are.

@WhiskeySandwich You might be surprised by the 634s. I fill up the top half of my 888s and find I do the same with my 634s, but they still seem to fit less snug. I think the reason they haven't had a crotch blow-out yet is because of this too.

Not sure if I get it correctly but if we are talking about same tag size 634 vs 888 unless there is an anomaly in sizing the 634 will always feel more roomy on the legs. The 888 tapers from mid thigh to knee to hem. If you are looking at the chart they look similar at the crotch but you go 3 inches down from the crotch and the 634 is wider and stays wider all the way to the hem.

Yeah I think for some dudes 888 is the best option without a doubt. Personally I love the high rise and how it hugs my hips. I just don't have much of a behind to fill it.

@kojimastreets @yannis yeah i prefer the tapered look though, and I kinda need the extra top block room. I did look at some 633s, since they apparently have the same knee-up dimensions as the 634, but I'd still be sacrificing some top room for the sake of knee room. I do like the look of the other cuts on other people, I just really think 888 is my jam. The boys just found me a perfect pair of 888OD thats bigger up top and slimmer at the hem, cant wait to try em.
