            Love the way this patch is looking after 12 washes. I don't have any specialist leather cream/conditioner, so apply a light coat of E45 cream after every wash. This may be blasphemy to leather aficionados, but it's started looks much healthier since I began this practice.

                      @Anesthetist that says a lot, dude! All that constant rubbing and friction taking it in and out of pockets etc is like a constant polishing act it seems.

                      I really like how you created that deep pocket with a side wall. I’d like to learn how to do that. I’m just starting my leather craft hobby.

                        @Mizmazzle someone w a lot more experience like @seawolf could give you way better advice but I used a form to make pattern. I think I glued together a fat stack of spent gift cards 😃

                            @Mizmazzle Yeah, what Matt described is perfect. You can also use a process called "wet molding" that can yield some crazy results.
