Stitchdown Patina Thunderdome(Year 5)
-
Thanks! I enjoy cataloging the changes.
Yeah, it’s just kind of funny to see some of the stuff you notice really early on that makes you scratch your head a bit. But at the end of the day, it’s about having a good time. I look at it as an opportunity to end up with a pair of boots I really like, something I’ll keep wearing for years to come if I take care of them the right way.
 -
@northsouthdenimguy please post all you want so I can live through you! Been eyeing a pair in the same leather from the shop Vancouver, so I’m excited to see how these evolve.

Anybody going to Stitchdown Boot Camp in Chicago next week? Nov. 8th
I went last year(NYC) it was pretty cool dragged my wife but she wasn’t feeling well dealing with some medical issues. this year she is doing a lot better so hoping I can make her stay all day on Saturday.

We fly in Thursday early afternoon, staying downtown. Doing the Horween tour 1 PM on Friday and VIP meet and greet early evening. All day Saturday at boot camp, hang out Saturday evening with whomever. Fly back Sunday.
If anybody’s going, I would love to say “hey”

First month is a wrap

@northsouthdenimguy hell yeah man. Yours are looking lovely!

Looking good

I agree the grass is covering up the boots a bit. I preferred to have something in the background, especially outside shots. I know some of the guys take it pretty far and do professional shots in their home studios, etc.. natural light is always better though IMO
I’ve been using this location for the last three years. Which reminds me I need to freshen up the mulch, which is now completely gone behind the wall.

 -
@northsouthdenimguy thanks for the advice dude.
I agree. Outside shots are the coolest looking. It’s probably just me…but the whole studio lighting/ set up thing is a bit much. Those photos do end up pretty great though.
 -
@Mizmazzle those look great! Boot and leather ID?
 -
@Bobcat-Sig These are Lofgren's in the Badalassi Grigio leather.
 -
@Mizmazzle Sweet, thanks. I would've guessed JL, but that Badalassi leather looks much different than the product shots. Looks better in person and after some wear.
 -
@Bobcat-Sig thanks man. I agree. I just hope it doesn’t turn into a pure brown and holds some
Of the green as it ages.
