@RobeOfTheMagi yes. I avoided it at first, thinking slimmer cuts might be better. But ever since trying 634 I'm not going back to anything else. well, maybe 1955 🤔 haven't tried that one yet though

Ended up grabbing two pairs of these over the past month. Im between sizes (small waist and rear, big thighs) and initially went with a 34 for the bigger leg before getting annoyed at the oversized waist/seat making it impossible to fully cinch a belt without weird puckering.

Reached back out to the crew and they were excellent at hooking it up with a tag 33 with a relatively bigger leg. They arrived yesterday and fit like a glove. Im about 8 hours into wearing them and can feel them opening up already. Once the the seat/upper thigh open up a bit these will be a perfect slim straight jean.

Still going to hold on to the 34s for when my weight creeps up or for those days when I want a slouchier, more relaxed fit. And honestly you can never have too many IH pants.

The pics with the wrangler shirt are the new 33s, the ones with the Schott are the 34s

Hey folks! I recently traded for a pair of 634s and they seem a little weird. They are second hand, so obviously there will be some wear on ‘em, but two things jumped out at me.

                      1. The leather flasher tag is very messily sewn on. As if done by hand.

                      2. Only 1 belt loop, the back one, is tucked under the waistband. The rest are not.

Could this be a factory second pair? I’ve owned plenty of IH, and know the brand well so as far as I know IH does not do releases of their seconds.

Let me know what ya’ll think!

@Melquíades you could always ask the seller. It looks like someone took the leather patch off the jeans at some point in time and tried to sew it back on themselves. Poorly done…

Just the other day there was someone on here looking for a patch and it may/could have been the same person who sold you these jeans. It could have been they ruined the patch in a hot soak, didn’t like the patch and took it off, or something else.

Your best bet is to contact the seller and see if they know anything.

That patch has been sewn on (badly) by hand.

But apart from that they look legit.

No image of the belt loop sewn into waitband, so I can't comment on that.

The 3rd image shows the right side and front-right side belt loops, both of which should be sewn in but are not. Thanks for looking!

We never used to sew the belt loops of the IH-634S (and some 634S derivatives) into the waist band. I am more intrigued by the one you is…

This pair has only the back belt loop tucked under. I imagine Haraki did this because he wore a belt whilst on the bike (?)
