Shoutout to Sash at Berkeley Supply in Denver for helping me keep my glasses out of my beard with a new glasses ring and ballchain setup. LOVING it. Especially loving the matching rosette on the poplock. They were meant to be together.

Digging this shorty chain setup that just came in. Unfortunately they short shipped me on the spring rings I ordered, so waiting on that, but using my desert B spring rings until it comes later this week. I ordered the new spring ring smooth/goosebump in A. I’ll use one ring on my BLB and the other to connect to the wallet
Reached out to GA about possibly getting a 3 link extension to make it a tiny bit longer, but going to sit with this for a little to see how it goes

@hgering27 the leather is so tufff. I wish they made a more "traditional" style of card cases where its 1 card per slot instead of multiple cards stacked together if that make sense? Also personally not the biggest fan of snap button as they do stop working in a few years (imho). Would be sick to see some kind of variation with a zipped compartment with a GA designed zipper head

@kaacy1721 yeah I definitely get that. They have the other card holder but I liked the “satchel” aspect of this. Leave my primary card in the front slot with some cash and the rest that I don’t really ever touch in the back. The leather itself is great though. The snap I’m indifferent about, I think it’s subtle and adds a nice little detail, but I’d also be fine if it didn’t snap shut. So far really enjoying the wallet setup. I’m just debating whether or not I want to special order the extension for the chain right now. I feel like I will and then can switch in and out as I please. They said it’s about a 4 week lead time

@Kasi I like some of the old simpler design aesthetic, but the level of detail on some of the newer pieces is extraordinary. I have no idea who actually designs them, nor does it matter to me. I suspect much of it is done on a computer nowadays.

Yes agree some stuff looks amazing.
but out of 10 only 2 or 3 things I like.
In new stuff comes out.
Old stuff feel unique and style that’s rock when you look at it.They remove HLYWD of most stuff. As old stuff has it stands out.
I have been in the game a lot time you will know the difference feel the look. I go to Rivet and Hide a lot see some of the new stuff disappoint me. But want buy more Good Art.
Bottom line luckily I sang a lot of gems back then. Prices was cheap. Covid fuck everything up.Back at LA Good Art Josh has hidden stuff you want from back in days.
Feel gotta make a trip there

I feel for me a mix of the old and the new is perfect. Incidentally, on the the HLYWD front, I like the added CALIF. on the new dice.

Any of you guys ever cut an inch or so off a pop-lock chain to get a length that works better for you?

it's done pretty often. I think even Josh says to do this. Just be sure how much you're cutting because they come off a lot easier than they go back on.
Thanks man, I was pretty sure it would be fine but wanted to be certain before I made a rather costly mistake.
