@SFMCfranky I see least one or two each time I go down to the Potomac. My wife and I saw a pair of them flirting about one another, spinning and spiraling in the air. It was a magical moment. We planted milkweed too, three different varieties. The monarchs haven't found them yet I guess. I do see hummingbird hawk moths that love the milkweed and other small moths. Sometimes yellow or black swallowtail. I have seen monarchs in our backyard but that isn't where the milkweed garden is.

Can’t remember if I posted a cicada lately but we seem to have a lot this year. Boone eats them if he can catch them

Absolutely - it’s a Red Admiral, but definitely a beautiful orange @Oaktavia
