Unpopular opinion:

Despite ushering in the death rattle of the laurel canyon scene and, by all accounts, being giant douchebags....I genuinly enjoy a lot of songs by the Eagles

I am however a fan of the big lebowski....

I love the Dude, but strenuously disagree with his opinion of the Eagles. When I was a little boy discovering music I was listening to records and cassettes of them, Zoe, Jimi, the Doors, BB King, and, randomly, a transparent yellow Grand Funk Railroad album alongside Motown, Stax, and the Beatles. So they’re kinda burned into me. At least he likes Creedence!

@endo good to hear. He’s so cool. The Dude made it hip with a lot of people to hate them. I definitely understand hating Laurel Canyon adult contemporary soft rock stuff but whatever; I don’t. And I increasingly appreciate some of it as I age.
