@Bridger I have not tried honey mushrooms before so I just tried one cap after I sautéed them with salt, pepper and garlic with butter. I counted 41 caps but one I used for a spore print. The taste was similar to oysters and of garlic they were cooked in. The spore print was white which is a green light. I will wait 24 hours before consuming more, assuming my gut will be in the clear knocks on wood.

Sounds like a sensible approach @Oaktavia, you don't want to ashroom anything.

Same with the one I found this summer. I would say 75% of the time I find COTW, its too old!
