Papa Nui and The Rite Stuff have collaborated on the Sailor Moku Pants, which are currently available for pre-order with delivery in October. They're based on The Rite Stuff's Daybreak pants, with tweaks to the pockets based on military designs. They're made from a 10.5 oz denim that mimics a slubby vintage Levi's weave, and they're manufactured John Lofgren. At the time of writing, The Rite Stuff has sizes S (32"), M (34"), and XXL (40") in stock, whilst the Papa all sizes bar XXL, including L (36") and XL (38"), along with the matching cap. I've signed up for a pair, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they turn out.
-
Heck yeah! I already have the cap on order - very tempted by the pants…
-
@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot I've got my name down for the cap too. Of course, I'd argue that you should order the matching pants too.
-
@Mister_Brue that stonemason dust gets everywhere.
-
I’ve had this one a while a metal spike hit the peak and deflected up saved my eyes but not the hat.
 It was my favourite one and fits perfect stays on in a strong breeze but so comfortable to wear all day.

@Gammaman you should have it repaired with a couple denim patches from your retained cuff cuts if you have them.
-
Good idea thanks.
-
@T4920 Grease Monkey?
-
@Mister_Brue A-3 I believe
-
“PN-0042 - Papa Nui - Grease Monkey A-3 Cap - Indigo Based on the classic USAAF Type A-3 cap, the Papa Nui 'Grease Monkey' recreates the style of headwear worn by US Airforce ground crew mechanics during WW2.” I have this one too, and have worn it to work throughout the summer. I love the Papa shrink or stretch to fit sizing.
-
@Mister_Brue ah yeah, that's the one! What do you mean by the shrink/stretch to fit? I've only ever seen sizes tagged M/L/XL.
-
@Giles Damn! I think I’d have gone with the cap, but I’m no fisherman. At least you had two… At least you had two…@T4920 You are correct, but if any of these sizes are not perfect, then they can be micro adjusted. There’s a Papa sizing thread somewhere I believe. Edit: Found it: https://forum.ironheart.co.uk//post/4642

@Mister_Brue oh that's handy! All of my XL feel literally perfect for my head size/shape but always tighten up a little after being throwing in the wash.
