ZeeBee Leather

@Mizmazzle the original post in this thread has it—it was a natural leather and you can see what it looked like when he made it. It has a very tight grain and is quite hefty. Definitely a terrific leather.
And you’re right about the stability. The materials and construction have kept the belt in amazing shape. I’ve worn it just about every day since I got it. Only exceptions are when I’m matching black boots or wearing lounge or technical stuff. This thing should be shaped like a rainbow after what it’s been through. Looks like it’s been around 12 years now.

@seawolf are you still making belts or are you just imparting sage advice these days?
-
@ZackB Btw, it trips me up every time I see your username, because I'm also Zach B.
Yeah, I'm still making belts on the rare occasion someone wants to buy one from me. I'm making one for @flannel-slut this summer. Hit me up if you're interested.

@mclaincausey Thanks for sharing! I love that this belt is your daily driver, and has been for TWELVE YEARS. Absolutely wonderful.

ZeeBee x Iron Heart
what color are the two lighter leathers in the middle? the one with bolts and the one without.

@bluemantra London Tan, Hermann Oak Bridle
@Mizmazzle I think I made that one about 8 or 9 years ago. It's Horween English Tan leather stitched together with Olive. Normally that leather is too thin
(relatively) to be made into a belt, but doubling it up and stitching makes a MEAN belt. And for those following along at home, @mclaincausey 's belt is the first leather item I was ever commissioned to make, so it's extra special! The original linen thread degraded so badly that he sent it back to me for an overhaul and I restitched it with polyester thread.

Recently commissioned the one man band that is ZeeBee leathers, our very own @seawolf, to repurpose a buckle of my grandfathers from his service in the Navy. After DMing Zach, he let me know of his service in the Navy as well and informed me that the buckle I was looking to repurpose was a rare CPO buckle. At that point it made no sense to send this anywhere but to ZeeBee.
Well the finish product arrived today. I am just wowed not only by the quality of the bridle leather used but the craftsmanship put into this belt makes my heart swell. Thank you again Zach. This was a really special piece for me and you exceeded expectations.
