Wow! Congrats! Where did you do your MFA? Mine will be in Furniture Design and Woodworking. My university also has a robust teacher training program, so if all goes well, I'll get to teach my own class by my second semester, and continue to do that throughout the program. The end goal is to teach, so I should be very well equipped by the end of these three (yes three!) years.

@seawolf I didn't find studying remotely that difficult, but it was tricky fitting it around work.
The course material wasn't too challenging, except for a unit on genre theory. But writing itself can be very difficult, and I can understand why George R.R. Martin has struggled to finish books.
