@derek111 ah that’s been on my reading list forever…need to pick it up! Yes, he loved it although they played for nearly 3 hours so it was kind of a trial by fire. Best proof I have is that he’s been forcing his younger sister to listen to his new favorite songs by them. It was a memorable time for us both I think.

Love Wilco.
TV on the Radio and LCD Soundsystem crushed Red Rocks last night and we had a crazy red moonrise over the stage during LCD’s set.
-
@mclaincausey It blows my mind that for some people, Red Rocks is the local venue.
-
@seawolf it still blows mine. My Mt Rushmore of outdoor Colorado venues:
Red Rocks
Mishawaka
Telluride Town Park
Dillon AmphitheaterVery torn about which of these I might replace with Planet Bluegrass Ranch in Lyons. We have an absolute embarrassment of riches here and now one of my favorite indoor venues in Denver’s Mission Ballroom.

I saw King Buffalo tonight. They were great. I have seen them before, but I never noticed how diverse the crowd was.
I don't know much about the band. Can anyone tell me why there were so many more wise fans (60+) in the crowd?
Nothing against wise fans for the record - I am hot on their heels.

Neil Young and The Chrome Hearts last night in Budweiser arena. What can i say, the old fella is doing good!

I'm having a killer month of shows. King Gizzard to start things off, then My Morning Jacket at the Hollywood Palladium, tonight I saw Bela Fleck and the Flecktones and next The Sword!!! Great month of shows!!
-
Joe Russo’s Almost Dead at Dillon Amphitheater last Saturday. What a great time!
-
If anyone is close to Raleigh North Carolina Far Too Jones is playing a final 'final' two shows in February. Great band that could've been famous and didn't want to be. Looking for airfare and hotel now. Their first album is unskippable. Every song is great imo
-
Suede in South Bank tonight. Circa 300 people. Much better than Oasis at Wembley a few weeks ago. Feels like a bit of a Britpop cash in. Gorillaz on Friday will round things out.
