@Iron-Geezer Oh okay cool. Same as mine, Sarb033. They made a couple different dial colors. White, Salmon etc

@Danimal506 yes, now that you mention it, that’s the model #. Seems the SARBS were consistently well made- unlike many Seiko’s with misaligned dials and markers.

@Iron-Geezer Yes that is one of the things that attracted me to them. I’ve worn the hell out of mine for nearly 10 years. And it still keeps decent time.

1st nice watch, or really any watch since started carrying an iPhone. Had few picked out, but this Tissot PRX was calling my name, and loved fact it already came with rubber strap. It’s perfect for my job, and will be wearing it everyday(maybe take off when skating). With the extra money saved, can purchase more iron heart gear lol. Or save up for another watch for nicer occasions in the future.

My G-shock GX-56 has been my daily driver for quite awhile. It’s solar so it hasn’t ever needed battery replacement, is all black so I can wear it with whatever, and it’s really comfortable for how large it is. Finally, the resin holding the clasp broke. I tried super gluing it and it lasted exactly one pull and broke again.

A replacement band is 75% the cost of a new watch so I sought out other options and found what I think is a cool one.

A seller on eBay 3D prints parts for my watch that allow it to be used with a nato strap. He will even add custom text where “tough solar” or “shock resist” was on the original band.

I picked out a 24mm nato strap from Prometheus Design Werx with titanium hardware.

Anyhow here’s how it turned out.

I have an on/off relationship with watches. Wore some casios back in the day, then got into affordable mechanical watches, sold them all because I only wore my Garmin eventually but then started to feel the urge to get a real watch again. Had a tudor black bay 36 for a while but as much as I liked it I did not really see the point in a "real luxury watch" and was not comfortable to wear it as a beater and it felt to pricey to not wear it. I sold it and got a very cool Seiko.

Just got this Seiko 5 Sports SBSA025 with kinda stealth look. Came with a black Nato strap but I think I like it better with this rubber strap.
