@SKT I was lucky enough to catch the tour that Glenn and Nels Cline did in the mid 2000s - it was a full solo set (in a relatively small club) from each and then they did a set together
I can't think of many other percussionists who could keep my attention on their own for an hour straight

Midnight Generation from Chihuahua is like Daft Punk: Alive crossed with synth wave and an incredibly good time. Saw them in a shoebox last night. Really fun dance party. Catch them if you can!

This Eminem cover is nuts.
About 4 mins in and shit gets real. She is spitting fire. Love it!

Not the biggest Black Metal fan, but Emperor are fantastic
Immortal are also great, but they have the added bonus of unintentional comedy with some of the worst lyrics (and CD booklet photos) in all of metal
But nothing beats the proto-Black Metal of Celtic Frost. Some of the best art work in metal to go with their groundbreaking music as well

Thanks for the share @prpx
I just looked up Palp Festival - it looks crazy beautiful. Has anyone been?

I went to the House of Kong in East London last night. It was very well done and one of the better immersive exhibitions I've seen.
I don't know much about Gorillaz, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
I would recommend it if you can still get tix.

Genuinely think this tune is a contender for song of the decade:

@americanathreads One of my favourite Sturgill tunes for sure! Are you familiar with the Sunday Valley version from 2011? Sturgill's band before he went solo:

@IH-GARY I learned of it yesterday haha. Been listening to the Cuttin’ Grass version for months and didn’t realise. I like the SV version but think the CG version is perfection.

One day, hopefully many years hence, I’ll draw my dying breath wishing I could have been there for this.
