@Mizmazzle I've been thinking of doing the same with my long sleeve version! What colour you planning?

A caveat to what I said above is that I've washed up to 40C with a hot tumble after. Not sure how it would behave at 60C.

@jerkules think imma dye mine tomorrow. Love my white 1600 but don’t wear it as much as my green one cause I’m worried about staining it. Time to get crazy!! See ya in the “dyed” thread for the aftermath!

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

I went with XL but think now I should rather size down to Large. What do you think guys?

Many thanks for your suggestions ✌️

Same story for the white one…I feel like it’s too roomy and the shoulders are too wide. Will this set with wear or should I size down to a LARGE?

              Thx guys 🙏

You can definitely afford to size down!
But I think you can also afford wearing this slightly oversized paired with some wider pants if you like it that way. I have two sizes and while I like the trim fit of the smaller the comfort of the oversized when chilling on the couch is absolutely unbeatable. 😁

@Alex @weftyarn Thanks guys, I will size down as I would like to wear them on and off the couch 😅 I hoped so much that they would fit right away 🫣

The fabric is amazing, just need some cooler temperatures now.

My shirt has become discolored and I’m trying to figure out the cause. If anyone has some insight, I’d be grateful.

My first guess was sweat since it was most pronounced around the collar, but it also shows in other places and it’s not a problem with my other white t shirts. I also suspected that it had something to do with my wood closet since the discoloration seems to align with the fold lines, but none of my other white shirts in that closet show this. Strangely, it’s absent around the tag but pronounced on the tag stitching.

I bleached the shirt a few years ago and it’s worsened since then. I will most likely end up dying it.

Strange indeed. What else do you wear it with? Is it possible that it’s some sort of sweat and then some transfer from a jacket?

I’ve heard that bleaching actually sets a stain if it isn’t dealt with first. I’d try OXY as well.

I got a pair of used IH jeans off ebay with a very similar discoloring. vinegar soak completely removed it after the vinegar dried and then cold washed

@Brandrea @indigostiff the blue armpit stains are due to indigo transfer. I wore an indigo shirt with my leather jacket and then this t shirt. Otherwise, I didn’t wear this shirt with anything unusual.

From what I’ve read, white clothes can turn yellow, similar to paper, due to oxidation. This can be accelerated if not all the oils and sweat have been removed when washing. I usually washed this shirt on a delicate cycle, so that could be partially responsible.

I soaked it over night in oxygen bleach and it helped a lot. I may do it again or try chlorine bleach.

@DrPat Silly question perhaps but are you in the habit of applying sunscreen? seen something similar when people apply this liberally to the back of the neck and it's done something like that, and runs down back mixed in with sweat.
                                      Just a thought.

I hope you manage to find a solution. I’ve never been able to get my white tees completely stain free especially the neck area, which is why I don’t wear them a lot especially on hot days.

I love the look of a crisp white tee, I just can’t keep them clean😂
