Yeah, considering we just brought a new baby home today and she's only had 2 hrs of sleep since Monday, I'd say she's fair and reasonable. I got here about 10 minutes before the delivery guy.
Or is she cruel… she wouldn't let me see the jeans long enough to get them bottoned. I only managed the top one to make sure they fit, the rest would have required time, beer, a wrench, and possibly a strong friend to manage. Lucky for me I usually have all those things handy on xmas morning anyway. I would imagine Giles cringes every time someone orders a hem on these, I wouldn't want to run them through a rare vintage sewing machine for fear of personal injury and mechanical catastrophe.
I know this one’s really old post (not for me, but I read this all post from the very first?), but we have a same spot. The difference is that I told my wife I got my pair by trading some of my niche perfumes that I bored of to my friend (really happened once)

It’s funny to see this because I haven’t bought a pair of 666 in years but I’ve recently been considering getting a new pair. Thanks for the memories. It been an adventure.
Maybe it’s a sign that you should get one, Matt. Really enjoy reading all the comments in here. And so far this one has the most comment in all series.
-
Btw, is it just my feeling or the pockets are laying a bit too low? I usually wear my pants on my hips. Should I wear it a bit higher?
Really need some advice

@Matt noted. Is it just me, or the course of these pair has changed slightly? On earlier comments I saw that these 666 xhs will not shrink due to some soak / wash. And it was suggested as unnecessary. But on the later I found it that people are suggesting to soak / wash first to maximum the shrinkage.
And in your case, if I’m not mistaken, your pair with 34 tagged size has stretch to 36” waist, right? It was pretty big stretch, ain’t it?
-
I wouldn’t say they stretched. I think the tag size n these is typically smaller than the actual waist size. I didn’t personally experience much stretch with mine because they started out bigger. Some pressure in a tighter pair could I guess. Washing def didn’t shrink mine. I do recommend soaking to get all the starch out. These are very rigid and can develop holes in high friction areas like the crotch and cuff folds.

@ricardodarmali those look great. I need to get mine off to IH for a crotch repair, I’ve just been procrastinating. I miss wearing them.

@Matt noted. Gonna do the first hot soak first I think. Thanks dude

Hi...I have a sizing question. I wear a 36 in the IH-666S-SB 21oz..would I be a 35 in the IH-666 XHS 25?
Thanks -
@Twistlock I'll try... The 666 21oz Superblack size 36 has a waist 34.8 inches and this fits me well after stretching an inch. The 666 XHS size 35 has a waist that starts at 36.3 pre soak. After soak there will be some shrinkage, but I'm thinking it'll end up around 35 ish after break in.

I think I'll be able to try on a size 34 (which is two sizes down) locally, and depending how that fits (or doesn't fit) I can assess if I am in fact a 35.
