        Guys..
        I tracked one DOWN!
        IMG_8440.JPG

The Shop Vancouver had one size large left. They measured the chest and shoulders for me and I thought it might work.
I think it did. What do you guys think?

I can even do up the buttons up with my thickest (Ironheart) hoody underneath.

It's definitely shorter than my 21oz 526PJ but I think thats how these vests are intended to fit. It rests below my belt so I think I'm still okay.

        IMG_8456.jpg

When I bought said 526PJ, I wanted to wear it all the time. It's the perfect jacket imo, but maybe not because it gets too hot here in the summer. I stumbled on this thread and it was like EUREKA! 💡😅

Will post more once I've had a chance to gather thoughts. One thing I can say is I've never had a vest before and had fricken clue what I was missing!!!

@Chibs I think the fit is pretty spot on for up to a hoodie underneath. I sized up on all my vests so that I could, comfortably wear a UHF and a hoodie underneath. that's probably good to 45 degrees for me,but on the other hand mine doesn't work with just a t-shirt.

@Jett129 A UHF AND Hoody is intense! I want to try this later. When it gets cooler I could definitely layer the crap out of my 526PJ. My original intention was to just wear a t-shirt underneath during summer months. But seeing how nice and comfortable that hoody was makes this a much more versatile piece than I originally thought.

            Very happy over here!

I gave my vest its first machine wash and ended up with these weird marks. Is this normal? Btw the vest was washed inside out like a pair of jeans. New to this denim world. Guys what happens next? Is this part of the fading journey?

@hugothecowboy. Its difficult to speculate of what caused it. Seems like that's an area that was rubbing against something when you were wearing it. In time when it starts fading I don't think you will notice it anymore and it will blend in.

I think i just need to keep wearing the hell out of it 😁 hopefully it blends in with the rest of the fading. Thank you @yannis

@hugothecowboy if it's from the wash and not wear, you could try soaking first next time then wash. Happened with my 777 21. The marks disappeared within the next wash or two and hasn't happened since then by soaking before wash

@Graham Has there ever been a consideration to make a modified Type 3 vest with the 14 oz fabric? I do own the 21 oz overdyed vest and it’s a fabulous option in the Texas heat. A 14 oz indigo vest (or even the 21 oz indigo) would also be excellent.
