@sabergirl absolutely. A forum that I used to frequent, car based, the first post on every question was ‘have you searched’. People don’t mind sharing knowledge but giving the same answers over and over gets old pretty quick. It’s why it’s a shame Facebook killed most of the forums as it’s a terrible way of centralising knowledge

Having had the IH crew help with getting a pair of the 634 SB, it got me wondering, for future reference: If I’m between sizes (tag 31 and 32 for example) and am fussy/ awkward/ particular (delete as appropriate! ) is there a better chance of finding a larger 31 or a smaller 32?
Probably the answer is: “it depends “! -

@Cymro what do you mean by "better"? Better than checking with the crew? Highly unlikely. It also depends on the individual measurements of an item, as well as the cut you are looking at. Overall, too many variables to give a definitive answer imo
Sorry, did not mean better than checking. What I meant was would it be more likely for the IH crew find ing a ‘small’ version of a size or a ‘large’ version if Iwas looking for the ‘in between’ sweet spot on the measurement.
I thought that what they did for me was really fantastic and i really appreciated it, and, even though I haven’t got many IH items, I’ve realised to check measurements and ignore the Tag Size!
I was thinking of future orders (which there undoubtedly will be some!!) -
@Cymro I think if for some reason the item you were looking for ended up being sewn up a little smaller than usual,then you’d have a better chance of finding a smaller version of the larger tag size for that particular garment,and conversely if it sewed up larger. Not sure you can guess the answer to this question ahead of time. To circle back see Giles’s response..
-
@Cymro one thing to keep in mind that I learned from my sizing queries with the crew, a smaller or larger individual garment will probably never have measurements that exceed the adjacent tag size. So if a 32 has a 13 inch thigh and a 31 has 12.5 thigh an individual 32 size garment would highly unlikely have a 12.5 inch thigh or smaller (just random made up example numbers).

Does anyone know when IH will release any new UHF for the coming fall and winter? I know it’s a bit early but just wondering generally when this happens.

@knappman74 Moved your question here. Normally late August/September. Some years it’s later….
-
@goosehd awesome thanks!

That video today was so well executed

@tody I tend to script it in my head as I go along – press record, have a few stabs at what I want to say, and then edit out all the times I mess it up!
I wouldn’t say I’m a natural in front of the camera, but I’ve made enough vids in my time to know how to make it look like I know what I’m doing
