@Yoprst Fabulous pics, chilling right now in my front yard thinking exactly the same thing, months later haha. The lighter weight IH offerings sometimes get poo pooed here a little. I understand the love for the heavier weights, but these and the 14 SBR are what I reach for when I want comfort. And they still look amazing.

This denim continues to impress. Right up there with the 21oz indigo as my fave. 14 broken twill is incredible too, sad to see it was a one shot.

91 wears and six washes. I get these nasty a lot thanks to warm weather activities, but they seem to be pretty contrasty. These are slow overall to fade but are getting some good patterns now. Being my hot weather go-to, I’m tempted to soak them with a dash of bleach in the water to experiment.

I just picked up a pair this week. Today marks 4 wears. Hoping they age the way yours have.

@jmp777 too late! Lol I just did a mild dash of bleach. The knees were already white from working in them and I want them lighter before I split one. Hopefully I avoided splotches!!! They’re doing a post wash now. I’ll try and post pics once dry.

@Oaktavia thanks they’re my most abused pair. I do a lot of manual labor in these, and workin/ride the bike in em a lot, but they’re still decent enough to wear to the office as long as I wash em a lot. Amazing for this 90 degree humid weather. These get super shiny too if I keep em clean enough, long enough. So I try to have them in that zone if I can help it. They’re holding up really well too, the thinner denim doesn’t get that crease-fray as much in the hotspots.

@Oaktavia also since they’re the hot weather pair, I’m playing with lightening them up too. I’ll probably keep presoaking them with a touch of bleach since I didn’t get any ill effects.

@WhiskeySandwich totally agree. My 888 14bb have come out once 90⁰s were here for good. Summer is a great reminder for how good the 14oz fabric feels.

@catdad1 yeah I’ve been two pair alternating the 14oz. These and the 888-142bb. The blacks are still much less used

@WhiskeySandwich thats rad dude thanks for sharing. Definitely tend to wash denim more in the summer months. Im still in my UHR and XHSib for now but I hide inside a lot.

@WhiskeySandwich Yo those look so nice. Mine are just at the early stages but I’m wearing them hard here in the US South this summer.
I tell you, the 142s has quickly become my favorite denim. I think for my climate they’re ideal, but also I love how well they keep their shape, the thinner back pocket compared to the 21oz so they don’t give me “bulky butt”, and just how soft they get, and quickly. Love em.
