I went in to Self Edge Austin today and sort of on a whim, my wife told me to pick out a t shirt! So I went with the IHT-1610 in grey!

They just got their shipment and luckily had every size to choose from. I opted to size down to XL. I felt like I’m in between sizes but I’m also a few pounds heavy. After reading the whole thread, I think this is the right way to go.

It’s a bit short in length, but when worn with a UHF it is perfect! It doesn’t show out of the bottom which is something that usually bugs me.

Without having different cuts in the same item, it is impossible to make stuff which fits all of the people all of the time.

And we are not big enough to do that.

And as I have said before, our retailer network would hate the complication of stocking different cuts of the same item. So they wouldn't.

But, we do make long versions of this t-shirt. The IHT-1610L

Regular and long went to production same time, so expect long ones soon-ish

That is an excellent point and something I hadn't considered.

                    Hello,

do I have to expect any shrink or any other funny business when washing this shirt at 40°C?

According to the measurements on the website, this is slightly longer (24.5") in the body compared to the version with an actual longer body (24.2"). Size small. Is this correct? Both work well for me, just noticed that the version with a longer body actually comes up shorter.

@Peter Thank you for the message.

Overall the 1610's do have a shorter body length than the 1610L's, which has been confirmed with a sanity check.

Sizing can be a little erratic with cut and sewn, and whilst we measure two of each size to form an average, it only takes a slightly longer/shorter piece to skew the chart somewhat.

I have slightly adjusted the relevant size charts in the product/forum to reflect this off the back of this up-to-date sanity check.
