IHM-35-NAV - Whipcord N1 Deck Jacket - Navy

The N1 deck jacket was first issued to US Navy servicemen in the early 1940s. Much copied in the years since, this military classic has evolved to become a true style icon in its own right. The Iron Heart take on the N1 remains pretty true to those original jackets—“if it ain't broke, don't fix it”—constructed with a highly durable whipcord outer shell and a high-density lining blended from sheep and alpaca wool. Of course, we’ve also given the original design a few innovative upgrades, most notably a hidden chino interlining to enhance wind resistance and a heavy-duty two-way zipper concealed beneath the traditional buttoned storm placket. This creates a formidable winter jacket, seamlessly blending authentic WW2-era styling with modern performance and functionality.

This would be my no.1 pick as missed out last year for N1s. Hopeful for sleeves that fit me and not 28 inchers.

@Niney the 28” sleeves aren’t as long as you think. I have an ODG N1 and the sleeves are perfect for a jacket. It’s not like a denim shirt or flannel where the sleeves are going to bunch up

@Choko I tried an N1 at IHUK size Large, fit perfectly everywhere but the 28 inch arms were ridiculously long on me by a mile!

@Niney hmm. I don’t think the sleeve measurements are gonna change much but you never know! At least you can grab an unlined version this season if this one doesn’t fit you right

Top on the list for me from F/W 25. I already have two IH N1, Khaki and Olive, do I need a third one? Yes I do... IH N1's are such great jackets. I am very happy that Haraki sticks to the not so true to the original pocket design.

Cool. Thanks @Cole yours really looks amazing! How long do you have it? My khaki must be older then 10 years now. It gets a lot of wear and is still great. The quality is really outstanding.

Awesome @steelworker and it still looks amazing, almost like new. My khaki must be about 2013 too. I remember I had it when I was still working at the hospital where I've been until 2013.
