IHSH-362-BLK - 16oz Non-Selvedge Denim CPO Shirt - Superblack (Fades to Grey)
-
@flannel-slut Yeah ok. I guess that would help to prevent some marbling too.
-
@V-P VERY much this as well
-
@Tobi Did you get enough time with it to ever soften up or fade much. Very glad I picked this up this past winter, and love the crunch. Will be a commitment project for sure.
-
@RubyRae never got it to soften up, but it is fading fast. Actually my one IH item most prone to marbling, even if washed according to best practice with soak and no spin
-
@Tobi Yes, I've definitely been adhering to all those best practices. In the end I think it will be awesome.
-
Aaaaand easy buy!! Stoked to get this and look at it till fall!
-
Ordered!
-
Just arrived, fit is pretty perfect, it is indeed very very substantial
-
@Ikeaparty 10/10 man
-
I got mine too. Insane shirt, it’s a lot stiffer than the 295-bb. My arms are literally bruised from setting the creases. The fabric has got this almost waxed feeling surface, really cool.

Hi
Does anyone have any recommendation on how to wash this shirt? Cheers
-
@neil_kman @Graham has one. How've you washed yours?
-
I have not been too precious with this as the fabric is designed to take a beating.
It's been on washes from anything ranging from 40-60c with high spin.
I do, however, make sure to wash it inside out and turn it right way round as soon as it's out of the machine and flatten out any creases before drying just to try and eliminate any extra marbleing.
-
@Graham why so hot mate, were you trying to shrink it. Any thoughts on detergent
-
There is a couple a few pages back:
@neil_kman Several factors including not needing to worry about shrinkage (unlike a UHF etc that I may have sized a bit closer)
I would have washed at 60c if it was super dirty, just something that I'm used to or would have combined it with another load as try not to do too many separate loads if I can avoid it.
And whatever power or detergent is on offer in Tesco
Percil, Own Brand etc.
