Crosspost from WAYWT. I rarely wear CPOs anymore and had no intention in purchasing this. However, when the second size XS arrived a little later than the initial drop at IH UK and it sat for a week not being purchased (@Luijim78 snagged the first size XS which looks great in his posts), I inquired of the team of the exact overall dimensions and fortunately this size XS dimensions were identical to my typical western shirt dimensions - not the typical CPO dimensions that usually run a little bigger and longer. Thus, I finally have a 17oz duck western shirt already pimped with copper snaps (and the bonus pockets if I should ever need).

@John-Galt tucking the untucked (almost). I like your consistency
-
@John-Galt it's perfect my friend, it looks great on you and you did really well not to let it slip away

@Raisinoux congratulations mate it really suits you

Dropped by Brund in Copenhagen today. Plan was to buy a t-shirt. I left the store Untucked
-
@PJ looks perfect! I avoided the CPO since I have the work shirt version and have a self prescribed shirt buying slow-down in place

I need to study this. Carefully.

New to CPO’s! Can someone help me out with sizing of a cpo shirt like this one. I am like the perfect xxl in IH shirts and flannels and technically I am a xxl in this, but does one tend to go one size up so it is more of a layering shirt or would that be to big? Would probably wear over a decent thick t-shirt. I have wide shoulders but a 33/34 waist so I am not wanting it to look baggy in the chest any thoughts?

@jimcord @ShopatIronHeart will answer you shortly!

@jimcord I’ve always gone true to size, but some tend to size up with CPOs. If you’re just planning a t-shirt underneath, I’d imagine your normal size would fit the bill (measurement dependant, as always). Good luck; this one is a beauty.

I am a little late to this game in trying to find a xxl! Lol thank you for the info!
-
@jimcord I'm with @Mister_Brue on this, I don't tend to size up for CPOs. Then again, I typically use them as I would a regular (denim) shirt.
(Iron Heart Germany has XXL in stock by the way)
-
@JunkPants Good enabling.
-
@Mister_Brue Haha, that's my size so I'm just trying to make him buy it before I give in and buy it myself!
-
@jimcord I would go with your usual size. However, to be 100% sure, the best way to find the best size would be to measure your favourite shirt here and then compare it against the desired product size chart. Although CPOs can run a little larger than usual work/western shirts, I think your regular size would be good if you want to wear the CPO just over a thicker T-shirt. If you wanted to layer it with something thicker, like a hoodie or shirt, you may need to look at a size-up.
If you want to send me your measurements, email me at Shop@ironheart.co.uk, and we can discuss sizing in more depth for different CPOs we might have in stock. We are currently out of stock in a 2XL of this one.
