@Tago-Mago maybe, like if they have to red flag a session before F1 drivers put up hot laps.
-
Why can’t he just let his kid fail at tennis or something less annoying and expensive than wasting an F1 seat?
-
Max once again is out here doing side quests.
See a lap record at Nurburgring Nordschliefe under a pseudonym in a Ferrari 296 GT3.
First time on the circuit, did it in a few laps. Truly on another planet.
-
Thanks for the share @mclaincausey
Do you think Max enjoyed doing it in a Ferrari?
-
@mclaincausey I hear Franz Hermann is making some waves…
-
@Bridger I know he’s got a deal with Aston for his GT3 team
-
@Bridger yep!!! He could probably do it in a soapbox
I have my issues with him but what a driver he is. Of course thousands of sim hours on the course helped but just ungodly.
-
That was a great time.
Max earned much more than a 10s penalty there for torpedoing Russell. Unacceptable behavior.
-
Exactly. Hotheaded Max sucks ass. Best racer of his generation, great sense of humor, but still hasn’t matured.

-
@Giles The pass at Imola wasn't too shabby...
-
it was funny watching him throw his toys out the pram after realising he was fucked with hards and then losing 2 places at the restart..
-
Maybe I don’t know enough about it but I feel like he’s a complete racer and a complete asshole. Like the master class he gave in São Paulo last season, winning from P17 in the rain while the rest of the field kind of helplessly skittered around, demonstrated another level. I mean dude set a record in a GT the first time he drove Nurburgring. He’s so complete that he’s out there doing side quests. He advises his team on strategy while racing (messed up by requesting new tires last race) and even notices things other drivers are doing and asks his engineer to raise the issue with the stewards if they misstep.
Lest we say the incompleteness is due to intemperance and things like this latest dive bomb, we should remember similar moves by Schumacher and Senna (which, BTW, carried much more extreme—and warranted—penalties).
