So day 4 with the jacket and I’m honestly smitten with it.

      IMG_7401.jpeg

One thing I’ve noticed is the sleeves got a bit longer somehow. Maybe because of the way it was initially folded and creased while being shipped. Not a big deal at all though, I like my sleeves a tad long and I could always hot wash. An other little nitpick is the button second from the bottom. It’s crazy tough to do up! Takes me 3 times as long as all the other buttons combined but I think (hope) this will get easier with time.
Apart from that, it’s such a comfortable and versatile piece. That thick 21oz denim breaths really well and driving in it is an absolute pleasure.

      IMG_7302.jpeg

I also know from experience with my 666 21oz that it will become even softer and more comfortable as it breaks in which is crazy as the initial bar in that respect is already quite high! So If I were to pick one and only one light-ish jacket to have for the rest of my life, this would definitely be it. Admittedly, I’m full of $hit because as I type this I’m thinking about that Self Edge Od CPO as well as the Untucked coming out in July, but you get the idea 😅🍻

@Chibs looks great on you man! I wonder if the sleeves being longer is more that they “feel” longer cause the shoulders and chest have stretched a bit with wear. My IHJ-86 stretched about 1/2” in the chest and shoulders, but then tighten back up with a wash.

@Mizmazzle Thanks! Could be. When Scott took it out of the box, it was flat from being jam packed with all the other jackets. They ordered a lot! I noticed the arms were wide and creased at the sides from that.

@Chibs One of the things you can try and do to shorten the sleeves is dampen them and try to set the creases. They will do it on their own with time and wear, but you can speed the process up a little.

@goosehd thanks man! I think I’ll just enjoy the jacket as is and see how things progress naturally. Sort of digging the longer sleeves tbh. 🍻

@Chibs only solution now is to go out and get yourself a motorcycle to properly use that extra sleeve length. 🏍️

Got my jacket from ISP yesterday. It's a little big over a tee but nothing bad. Fits great over a thick tee and kersey today... As it's rainy and 58°. The size down would be a risk around the belly and sleeves.

I received my jacket from Ironheart Germany today but I’m not too happy with it unfortunately. Button spacing seems all over the place, something that shouldn’t happen on a jacket in this price range imho. I know the spacing is different for the top button and the one below but this is on another level. I think I’ll contact Ironheart Germany for an exchange, what do you think?

Unfortunately, I have to agree. The button spacing would bother me as well.

@Chibs looks fantastic on you and loving the updates. I wore mine again today (I think this is my 5th wear) no change on arm length on mine. I can see the difference you mentioned but just embrace it as it looks great! I have given up trying to button it, so tough it hurts my delicate fingers. I can't wait for it soften and it's so breathable. I had a gentleman in a shop compliment the jacket today which was nice.

@Marcel this is disappointing to see and read, the spacing is way off compared to mine and the others in their pics. I'm hopeful a replacement can be arranged ASAP.

@Niney this is my first restock in a while. I sold my 526 back in February thinking this was close lol. I definitely have a problem😜. I've been waiting on a 555 xhs restock as well as the 292 but that looks like it will be a SEXI CPO instead. Then I'll be looking for fw25.

@CosmoSix5 sounds great fella, I enjoy your posts and pics so keep it going. I have 17oz 555 which I love, the 21oz stretch, 18oz didn't fit me but the 17 was spot on. I do wonder if I would fit xhs. I shall certainly pop down to IHUK and try them on. Bring on FW25!

@CosmoSix5 the sst were lovely, but to fit my upper leg the waist was too big! Didn't have this issue with the 17oz, perfect all over and plenty of space for the waist to stretch. Added you on insta! (empty profile just for lurking).
