thx to @Mizmazzle I now know where I can wear my very special belt with . didn’t tried it on my new 822 before .
it’s a extremely rare and beautiful belt , handmade in Vienna many years ago.
They used old military belts mainly from the former jugoslav army and some from austrian army too.
it looks like the hilt of a katakana ( Samurai sword) the red leather is stingray and look at those studs with engraving.

I just recently discovered this thread, and as a belt fan, I'm completely blown away. Wonderful pieces here, gentlemen
My current favorite belt, seen here when it was still brand new:
45 mm Western belt made of 4.5 mm thick Old World harness leather, with a solid brass belt buckle from Japan. I assembled it myself last summer. Luke from "Luke's Custom Belts" (Germany) supplied the strap, and "Smoky Sumi" in Japan supplied me with the brass buckle—as is (almost) always the case with belts.

@Jett129 black Japanese bridle leather. It has waaay more wax on it than the one pictured on their website. Very impressed so far and I’m excited to see how it ages

Another, equally simple western belt that I made to go with a new pair of jeans. I've been using it daily for weeks now...
38 mm width, 4.5 mm strong veg tanned natural leather.
