@SKT oh no
and had no idea till I saw your post. getting major sports news through the forum is the way

@SKT
As a life long DFW resident and Mavs fan, I can tell you that the entire City's heart sank. It's especially painful after the Cowboy's announced their new head coach, and we found out we weren't getting Deion Sanders; like we all hoped. -
@Go-For-Chill what part? I went to High School in the Richardson area. This will age me but I was there when they had Mark Aguirre, Sam Perkins, Rolando Blackmon. Mavs fan going way back.
-
@SKT I grew up in Burleson. We live in the TCU area now.

Im sorry man, that’s gotta be heartbreaking to any Mavs fan trading away Luka. Like franchise star took you guys to the finals last year, def top 5 players in the league and only 25. I don’t get that trade, espically since wasn’t shopped to any other team and, trade for 32yr old AD(obvs great player) max christie and only one other pick with him? Biggiest trade ever and kept super DL. I’m sure you’ve heard about some of the conspiracy’s, feel like the nba/adam silver def had something to do with this to make the NBA ratings higher. Lakers draw a lot of causal fans to watch and something def fishy with that trade. -
Side note think everyone knows all star weekend in SF this year at Chase. I knew it would be way to pricey but looked at ticketmaster yesterday jus for shits and giggles. The cheapest ticket for just Sunday game is 1600 each, for the upper section. Not even weekend pass, every event cost around the same. Hella Sucks that most Bay Area working class fans won’t be able afford to go, would be really cool experience in person. But be watching on TV still chill too. I wonder if new mini tournament set up this year makes people play defense. Def makes it little more interesting

need a warm glass of milk after tonights Cs game

@flannel-slut
I gotta watch highlights later, just got home from work and checked score. OT lose tough, feel like Celtics will take this series . Locked into okc/nuggets game. Side note going to game 3 of dubs/twolves series Saturday, we’re hella stoked. We were at game 4 of rockets series and Chase was rocking! Such a good time, game. There’s Only so many years left of curry, draymond and now butler. So worth being little broke going to another play off game lol. Plus uppers aren’t super bad, Like 650 for me and my wife to go Saturday. -
@meatmarketdenim1 watching the Nugs myself. OKC has such intense energy and defense we can’t even move the ball without a turnover. Lil nervous here.
-
@Mizmazzle
Damn man, okc is clamping down. Swarming Jokic, plus home game from them. Okc is a great team, my buddy is big okc fan. So I’ll check games here and there, text with him etc. nuts see where they were at few years ago till now kinda impressive. Great drafts and trades. A solid team and SGA is nuts. That being said, they had last week off. And Denver just had battle 7 games vs clippers, think Denver will rally and get some wins. Going be really Hard beat Denver 4 times -
@meatmarketdenim1 3rd quarter was a battle!!
-
@Mizmazzle
Dude what a great game! Down to the wire, jokic killed it and Gordon big game winning 3 -
@meatmarketdenim1 GORDAN is a legend!!!
-
AG is amazing. He works his ass off and it shows. Keeps the glass clean and hits clutch shots and free throws. He absolutely posterized Holmgren on a dunk, hit clutch free throws, and then added another amazing game winner with that 3.
None of it happens without Jokic going nuclear either.
I just love this team. If MPJ’s shoulder and head get right they have a chance against anyone even with their lack of depth. For them to play the way they did on 48 hours rest from a 7 game series against a team with 8 days rest is nothing short of inspirational.

That was arguably the highlight of the game! I mean, game winning 3 was freaking badass too!! haha
-
@Mizmazzle agreed.
The more I think about the game the more impressed I am with the Nuggets. Here they are only 48 hours past a brutal 7 game slugfest against a younger and deeper team who’s been resting for 8 days, they keep getting close and then OKC immediately stretches the deficit to double digits, and they end up winning with, of all things after how tired they must have been, hustle.
One of the grittiest team efforts I have ever seen.
