@Setanta Nice one!!! Wear it hard for me right now. It’s IHJ-75 weather now. I haven’t been able to wear mine for the last two months.

@Fadez The combo of this with IHSW-10 hoodie has worked quite well in the colder temps 👌

Back in the zone where I can start wearing this again. The indigo is not quick to fade. Over a long time. I think it’s going to look amazing. Will have this one for decades

How are people that grabbed one liking this piece? Are you pairing it with denim? Anyone have this and the olive sateen to compare?

Couple other questions... are people generally sizing down one from UHF / IH shirt size? And what temps is this comfortable in (with t-shirt, how warm is it still comfortable)?

                Thanks!

@natefreezy hey man. I “sized down” kinda to an L. Usually take an XL in UHF. Mostly for the sleeve length. Right now I wish I went TTS because the shoulders are a bit tight when layering in the colder seasons. If you got super long arms. Definitely go with a larger size. It’s good to layer underneath because it’s not the warmest jacket. I don’t have the olive. But if this jacket is in the cards for you. Definitely pick it up. Usually wear it with denim, duck, or easy pants. Makes anything look good. It’s just a matter of going out and rocking with it. The color of the blue is a sight to see in real life. How it was dyed is amazing. For sure my favorite Iron Heart piece

Getting into -9F degrees is the “cold” I’m talking about. It may be warm for other climates. I live in the North East of America in Western Pennsylvania. We had a particularly cold winter this year. It does great above freezing temperatures

Thanks guys, I’m sure if you layer up it can serve some winter duty. I was more wondering though in warmer weather with just a t-shirt, how does this do? Comfortable in the 60s (Fahrenheit) for example or would this get too warm?

I’d normally think of a field jacket for spring but not sure if this wears any differently.

Definitely a solid Spring and Fall jacket. If it’s windy, cloudy, or light rain. It does great. 65 and direct sun. Might not go for it. But I’ve certainly worn it in the summer while hiking for the fades.

One year in. Not as much wear as I thought. Not exactly indoor and sit at work friendly. It’s a great jacket. Look forward to wearing for the rest of my life though

@Fadez couldn’t agree more. Not exactly a wear throughout the day jacket but love it for being the “coat” it is.
