IH-888S-21ib - 21oz Selvedge Denim Medium/High Rise Tapered Cut Jeans - Ind/Blk

While washing my 888 XHSib, I decided to also throw these in the washer. These have only been soaked once and washed once. Both pairs will be going to IH for some much needed repairs, then put into storage while I break in my 888 SBG.

@caithangkhanh these are perfect too man they are cooked to a golden indigo.
-
@caithangkhanh hall of fades worthy!
-
@Oaktavia they definitely lightened up a lot more than I anticipated. This is my first time ever washing any jeans in the washer, so I was pleasantly surprised.
@WhiskeySandwich you’re far too kind! Lots of awesome pieces in the Hall of Fades. Not sure I’d make the cut. I’m considering joining the next II competition, just for shits and giggles.

147 wears, time for wash 4.

@WhiskeySandwich looking good!

@WhiskeySandwich looking so good hot damn

Received my jeans back from IH earlier this week. It took less than a month to:
- Place the order on March 10th
- Order processed by IH and provided shipping label
- Package shipped from Anaheim, CA to IH
- Package received in UK
- IH repaired two pairs
- IH shipped package back to Anaheim, CA
- Package delivered in Anaheim, CA on April 8th
The repairs are great! I’ll be able to wear these jeans for many many more years. If anybody is on the fence regarding repairs from IH, don’t be! I highly recommend it.
Patched up and ready to go for some quick Sunday errands.

Yes they look soooo good!!!

@WhiskeySandwich @Oaktavia thanks fellas! I appreciate the compliments. I’ve been mulling over getting these hemmed for a shorter Japanese Cuff or even possibly a single cuff with a cleaner break. What do you guys think? I love how they look now, but I think I’d really enjoy a shorter cuff too.
-
@caithangkhanh not that there's anything wrong with what you've got, i think it looks good... For myself tho, I prefer just a single 1-2" cuff or a stack. My cuffs stack a lot too even. Hard to do a stack once a pair is faded like yours with a cuff, but I think if you wanted to lose some length, you could probably retain your first fold crease and hem for the same length you have, or hem on the crease and fold another inch or two out of your length. Any way you do it I'm sure it could still look slick.

@caithangkhanh I would keep them the way they are.
