@flannel-slut this one shrunk nicely and is nice and form fitting. @FlavourFade your torso has some room to shrink to become a nice fit like Mr. Slut's. I was worried mine would shrink too much before I soaked mine. I think you will be pleased with your results. It will just take some getting used to, length-wise. The only IH jacket I have that is comparable to the RB length is the non-modified 22OD T3.
-
Soaked 30 min cold and put on damp to set the creases. It has become smaller but like you said @Oaktavia @flannel-slut it is now fitting better! The length is definetely something to get used to and the sleeves are now a tad shorter than I'd love but anyway. Funny thing is that due to the slim waist I can't button up my 3XL IH type 3 but I can with the ranch blouse in 42. I think this is a result of the boxy fit.
Please excuse the outfit, came straight out of the gym

@FlavourFade looks great man. It’s definitely a short cut but think it makes for a great spring summer fit with a tucked in tee.
-
Killer with some high rise 888s too to offset the short length… tho you may be onto something with your current fit
-
@flannel-slut thanks man !! I think the 1955s will work great with them but even 555 with a fairly high rise as well are spot on

Agreed for sure, I did this all of last spring. It'll fade like crazy and you will likely notice evo each time you wear it. And now that the shrink is out, you can wash it whenever you need to. Wearing a jacket in warm weather usually requires more washing. Mine got pretty grimey!
-
@Alexander oh yeah pre and post fit like night and day. Fit is perfect on that one.
-
@Alexander good comparison! It fits you like tailormade!!

Yeah I will have to see how long I can wear it once it gets really warm but up to 20 degrees c/68f I will use it for sure. Looking forward to the evo

@FlavourFade Noice. The STF nature of this denim gets very rigid once soaked = awesome stacks
-
@FlavourFade what's the weight on this denim?
-
@flannel-slut I don't think I had any piece of clothing that was THAT stiff. Not xhs, not 19L, nothing. Its amazing.
@bluemantra 12.4 oz
-
@FlavourFade hah that photo is awesome. I'm glad you chose the indigo/indigo. It's the best looking RB out there in my opinion. Really makes me want to break mine out but my Big Buck is saying no for now.
-
@Oaktavia I wore it in the house and for a walk with the dog and it's definetely a weird feeling how short it is. Especially with the rigidness because I feel it pinching in my lower back all the time, but it's soooooo cool. A random dude who was sitting on a park bench said "cool jacket" and I think this is one of the very few moments I got compliments for a denim piece
-
@FlavourFade It's pinching your lower back? I'm trying to imagine this. And it is a cool jacket!
-
@Oaktavia it's just my english sorry. Lack of better words. The hem (?) of the jacket touches the point over my waist while walking.
-
@FlavourFade ah, gotcha man. Wear it hard!
-
I'm really liking the look of this jacket. I had eyed up the tan canvas version in rivet&hide.
Alas, being an older, tall, and quite stocky chap, I seriously doubt i could pull the look off.
I envy those that can, as its a beaut.
