Picked up some black 990v6. Really wanted some of the recently released 992 Blk/Grey but missed out. The 990’s are really comfortable though so I’m happy

@SKT - this is my favorite NB - I have that black pair and I think 4 others (Carhartt, Baklava, and a couple other colorways). Pretty much the only running shoes I own - although I don't run in them (I have a pair of Brooks for that). Just an incredibly comfortable and casual sneaker for me.

There was a time when I wouldn't wear "running sneakers" with jeans - and I only work AJ1, Dunks, and Chucks. But now I don't care about the "rules" and I pair up the 990v6 with all of my denim.

Is there a difference in fit/comfort between the 990s and the 2002Rs?

2002 and 990 feel totally different to me. I much prefer the 990. My 2002s feel much harder under foot. My 2002s also give a bit of knee and foot pain if I’m walking around on concrete all day. The 990s I can wear all day every day.

We have a local sneaker shop that’s gotten pretty big with locations all over the US called Downtown Locker Room or DTLR. I learned yesterday that they have some collab 1906s that I now need. Katie’s out of town so I may take an e scooter down to check them out today…
