It happens to me on almost all my denim, my 21oz had much longer sections of this but when I sent them in for repair, much to my surprise they were patched up which I didn't even realize was a viable repair, but I agree with @goosehd they are just another marking of a pair of jeans well worn!!

After 4 months of wearing. I love this jeans, after 2 weeks it became much more comfortable. But I have to work to get more fades until the IH meeting in Bremen!!

Sorry for a silly question, but what model of jeans it this?

I'm pretty sure it's a 777. The denim I would bet is the 21 oz. Or possibly the 18 oz vintage. But others here will know better.
