Progress on this awesome jacket. Definitely seeing some fades turning black to blue. Loving this evo so far and will keep wearing it a lot. Took these photos during an ice storm so a little bit of ice was falling on the denim.

@Oaktavia wow, that one is coming along very nicely! Do I see some indigo coming through or is that an effect of the sunlight? My jacket seems to fade to grey.

@Lowlander it is blue coming though like blue grey. The sunlight makes it more visible for sure. It looks more grey indoors with fluorescent lighting. Outdoors it looks as overdye has been described to fade to indigo and grey. Same with my 25oz Mad Black. Always looks more blue outside in the backyard.

69 wears no wash. The colors of this denim shine brightly in the sun. It is alluring to see a dark, muted denim revealed in glistening glory. I'm going to hold off on a wash for now and see where it goes from here. This jacket is taking the driver's seat over my 140IG.

@natefreezy I've machine washed mine at low temperature and no spin. That went fine: no marbling or shrinkage whatsoever

Usually if I feel the need to wash a denim garment a little sooner than expected, I just do a handwash in my bathtub. Little agitation here and there, low effort really. That usually buys me 25-30 more wears before I soak it and then chuck it into the washing machine. As @Lowlander said, should be just fine.
