haha...when you find the look that works for you, you stick with it!

I've always worn jeans, flannels, and boots...the quality of those things has just increased dramatically over the years.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

Stussy flannel and a Donald Duck hat circa 2006. I’m pretty much the same dude, apart from the smokes.

@RoxRocks86 and @goosehd's comment got me thinking about my trip 2003/2004, 99% certain it's Ala Moana Beach.

@Walery-Smirnoff blue jeans and a pistol! Was this a common look in 1994 Russia??

I grew up in Southern California where gun carry laws are stricter. When I moved to Colorado I remember the first time I saw someone with an open carry pistol and I thought I’d moved to the Wild West.

Now, that I own my own firearms and understand the liberal carry laws around Colorado it seems almost “normal” to see this type of thing.

I remember the shocked expressions some Australians had when I casually mentioned shooting one time and have since reined that topic in among certain company.

Europeans would be a good start 🙂

i! I'll answer. I was young and stupid then. You've all spotted the trends correctly. In the 90s, we had crime all around. And everyone was going crazy in their own way. I grew up and got smarter. Unfortunately, the people around me didn't get smarter. And jeans were good back then, too. Levi's

@Walery-Smirnoff sounds like we’ve all experienced the transition from stupid young people to older and wiser. I’m glad you’ve been able to avoid some of the downfalls of old friends.

I most certainly don’t carry firearms around with me. Not my thing nor is it something I necessarily agree with. I do enjoy bringing a sidearm with me when in the backcountry. They are fun to shoot and enjoy marksmanship. Could be argued they are critical when fishing deep in Grizzly country, though bear spray is far more effective and efficient in that case, arguably.
But citizens with concealed carry out in the community is all around that’s for sure.
