It seams like the waist and rear rise measurements are significantly smaller compared to the last batch or is my memory wrong ?

Your memory is correct but only by a smidge, shouldn't thrown anything off or cause need for a different size. Exactly why we do charts every time due to the variance for all the different construction factors.

@AdamJ I bought a pair of the recently released 888s in 21oz denim and they are my new favorite jeans. Great fit for my larger thighs from playing soccer most of my life. I'm a size 34 in the 888s and typically buy based on waste size so it looks like I would go with a size 33 in the 1955s. However, nearly all of the measurements for a size 34 in the 888s look very similar to those of the size 33 in the 1955s with the biggest difference being a slightly wider knee measurement for the 1955s. Are there any other notable differences in fit?

The front rise appears also higher in the 1955 and as you already mentioned the knee measurement. The 1955 has a more straight profile than the 888. The 888 tapers from upper thigh to knee and the 1955 tapers below the knee.

To those who own these jeans, I have a quick question—how deep are the back pockets? Could someone check for me? I'd really appreciate it.
I'm thinking about ordering a pair, but I need to know if the back pockets can comfortably fit my phone (iPhone 13 Pro Max, ~16 cm tall).
I’m not a fan of front pocket phone fades, and finding quality jeans with deep back pockets is surprisingly difficult.

Adding on, width specs (top and bottom) would be appreciated as well.
Also, IH newb question 🥴, are the back pocket specs consistent from one fit to another?
I clip my keys to the right back belt loop on my current non-IH jeans and tuck them in the pocket next to my wallet, which has become comfortable/habit for me. Hoping I can do the same with my first pair of IHs, when/if I get to pick some 888 SBGs up when they’re restocked. Thanks in advance! -
Seems like these are actually going to work for me. I pulled some dims on my main work pants this AM and naturally forgot to measure front and back rise. But the thigh measurements seem appropriate for me. Debating between size 33 and 34, but my decision will much more clear once I've pulled rise dimensions on my current pants. Very eager to have the firm, but respectful hug of IH 21oz denim back in my daily wear rotation.
For peace of mind - are any USA IH stockists getting this run?

Just us and The Shop Vancouver.
I always say to go as tight in the waist as possible providing the thigh works as the waist will stretch approximately 1" with wear.

Back pockets size is a function of tag size.so you would need to specify the tag size you are after.

@EastClintwood I have the iPhone 14 Pro Max and have never had an issue with the phone in the back pocket (Typically wear 666, 634, 888, and IH-BB (Pictured) They all carry the phone the same (sizes 33-35). Only a corner ever sticks out:

On a somewhat related note, my wife doesn’t like my 888 21s because of the back pockets. She thinks they are too low on the butt and too prominent. She says I have a nice butt but you can’t tell when I wear them. I would say that, even before her comment, my least favorite thing about these amazing jeans is the placement and size of the back pockets.
But that’s just me, I’m sure. Definitely a fully utilitarian pocket design, especially being lined etc.
