Holy shit, y’all. The moment has come. A 40 popped up on eBay, and I pounced. It may end up being comically small. I had to do it anyway. This is my lifelong dream Iron Heart piece. So excited.

Dude, fingers and toes and all the things crossed! I know these came in comically undersized, and these days I wear a 38 or 40 in type IIIs, so it may be a stretch

I'd say that is looking good enough for now.
The sleeves are a little on the short side, obviously - you should consider wearing something tonal underneath
Are the sleeves lined, too?

@tody yep! Sleeves are lined with silky red quilting. I’m a little bummed about the sleeve length, but can work with it. Since there’s about 10 of these in the world, near as I can tell, this may be the only one I ever see.

Only minor disappointment is no internal breast pocket. Otherwise, I’m pretty happy

This was/is my ultimate grail piece. I would buy again in a couple sizes up in a heartbeat. Zero hesitation.
