Well that settles it. Just ordered from Brooklyn Clothing. They only had one 33 left so didn’t want to think on it too long. I’m sure I’ll find something else to use the 50$ on!

@HalfPastNever triple stitch will be hard enough, but there’s a massive bar-tack on the outer seams that secures the double knee. Fucking with that is going to screw with the integrity of the jean. If you taper from the other side then lining up the seams of the double knee with the inner seam will also be tricky.

@HalfPastNever I would definitely consider what @neph93 advised above. That said, Railcar Fine Goods and Williamsburg Garment Company provides the service you are seeking. I can only speak for RFG as I have never used WGCs services. RFG has done very nice work with hemming and tapering of regular jeans in the past for me.

These pants are so comfy. A much needed change from the 555s and 777s for me and my thick legs. These are a pair I picked up here on the board in December.

Like with @Kasi above, I think they look really good with a pair of sneakers.
