I'm noticing the left leg has an extra stitch line above the knee in the product photos that wasn't there on previous releases....

edit: @Graham says its not on the actual pants and crisis averted!!

These are dropping on Monday so I thought you guys might like some pictures to tide you over the weekend. I’ve had them just over a year now and they get a lot of wear. I have 5 washes on them and there is the start of a crotch blowout. Might send them to @JoshC soon and let him work his magic. As with most of my pictures, they look better in person.

@Denman-John they look so good! I think the 21oz really comes into its own with a few washes…the blues start to shine. That’s interesting about the crotch wear. I think mine will be my first pair to need a repair there as well. I think it might be because the thighs are a bit larger and there is more fabric to cause friction. Either way, they look fantastic! And thanks for posting!

@SKT When I saw your pictures from a few days ago, I noticed the same fading in the crotch area. Maybe it’s due to the extra layer of denim restricting movement in that area? I don’t know, but I do know these are amazing jeans that I’ll keep alive for many years to come. They just look better the more you wear them!

Can any previous owners/ wearers of these provide any info regarding stretch or lack of it on this fabric. My wife and I are after grabbing a surprise pair for our son, as he's been after a pair for over a year. Looking at the current size chart he seems to come in between 36/ 38 so we are wondering to come in slightly under or over.

@Blueband the waist is going to stretch up to an inch. Maybe a bit more if under enough pressure.

For me, my jeans all seem to settle at around 33” in actually waist measurement. I’ll be looking at Tag 31 which looks to have a waist of 32”. With a couple days of wear that will stretch out to 33” or even a bit more if I mange to gain a bit of weight etc.

I also wear a belt and that helps keep my jeans from stretching more than I’d like them to.

Also, this 21oz denim won’t shrink with a cold wash line dry. Meaning, if you wash them right away they won’t get any smaller. Once they stretch out with some wear, they will return to their original size when new. Then stretch again with more wear.

I prefer to start my jeans a tad snug and have them stretch to fit. They stretch easily and it’s not much of a struggle to get an excellent fit. Others prefer to start at their actual waist size out of the bag. All personal preference.

In the easy chair with my boots on, melted whiskey in my hand. Could'na been asleep for more than three hours...time to go to work again...

@Mizmazzle Thanks for the reply. I was thinking of going lower( 36) to allow stretch, rather larger(38). It's easier when I buy my own as I know exactly what size ratio is right. Harder when for someone else and what they are comfortable with. I've measured his IHDR-502bb so I can go ballpark. But, neither he or I have had 21oz before.
