Bollock Brothers-The 4 Horsemen of the Apocalypse

Founder of ‘The Bollock Brothers’ Jock McDonald was in the wake of PiL.
He is very entertaining on stage.
For this record he adopted some songs from Greek prog rocker Vangelis’ Aphrodite’s Child.
        All a great Rock’n’Roll swindle…

Not particularly rare or valuable but I like Brel and it's an original mono copy still sealed from '67

@GraemeE Oh okay, so we're going there. Absolute killer LP. This is one of the albums I use to introduce Lee to the uninitiated.

I'm expanding my jazz appreciation thanks to the likes of you @J-IV and @GraemeE, much appreciated. I'm interested, but don't know much of where to start, so I'm enjoying putting your suggestions on the stereo via Apple Music.

@ManiacLachy ahh you give me too much credit. Take note of anything @GraemeE post. He’s the lifeline of this thread and I can’t wait to share a drink with him and nerd out on IH and music with him (and anyone on here for that matter).

@GraemeE I feel like Lee as a sideman was mad underrated. So the records where he isn’t a lead or featured are often overlooked. Here’s a couple off top:

Even with a few hundred jazz titles I still feel like I’m just scratching the surface of the genre.

Anyway, here’s one for today. Ellington, Mingus and Max Roach. Not a group of musicians you’d imagine together, but it’s an absolute classic.

Yesterday @tody and @Tago-Mago mentioned this band in the music thread.
Bad Religion- All your yesterdays is an unofficial release from 91’ and I haven’t heard it for decades. Sound quality is as modest as my system was at this time.
It’s on a par with seven songs of their debut How Could Hell Be Any Worse?.
