Hot washing this to achieve just al little shirk does not make much sense with a zipped sweater right?

I'd like to shrink that sweater a little by washing it at 60°C. But the zipper can't really shrink can it? I don't want the garment to lose its shape.

Hmm, not something I'd really considered to be honest. I am honestly not sure, but I doubt you would shrink it to the point of it losing shape

I'll probably leave it as it is. I thank you for your honest assessment Alex.

@RobeOfTheMagi I've hot washed and dried one of my 14oz hoodies two times in a row with the intent to shrink it. It shrunk nicely and the zipper isn't warped or anything undesirable.

Have a similar experience to this. It tightens up after a wash and machine dry but also stretches back out after some wear. I don't notice any weird bunching around the zipper.

@Sir_Cuffs-a-Lot go for it bud, it definitely makes the fit and bit nicer if it's a little big.

Been thinking about one of these in lieu of a cardigan. I flipped through a few of the other threads and not finding much love for these. Anyone have a pic of one under a denim or leather jacket? Thinking of sizing down on this for a trim fit over only a tee.

Alright lads! Is 60°C (140°F) a good temperature to start with?

I did my large one at 90 be it an olive sweatshirt and to be honest it didn’t really make much difference

I’d love this colour in a normal sweatshirt

Okay. I just took it out of the machine. 60°C did absolutely nothing to it.
