@Oaktavia I know my 526J-142ib feels like a t shirt compared to this but I’m in the south so my definition of cold is very particular, so like 40 degrees

21oz superblack type 3. Own and wear that one for 5 winters now and it is still super stiff and heavy. Guess I can wear that for my funeral still being pretty stiff and looking brand new in 40 years or what. Haha
And I got a 19oz lefty OD which became pretty soft fast but still feels way heavier than the 140ig. I don't know. Maybe it's just me.

I would agree with this in the sense that it feels more stubborn, rather than actually heavier

@chbronsonx Oh no you are correct about those two, it's not just you. The SB and 19oz Lefty are by far the gnarliest fabrics I have in my collection too. To echo Alex's comment though, both the Lefty and the 140 are the same weight which is crazy to think about when trying both jackets on.

Yeah maybe stubborn might be the correct word.
I weighed them and the lefty od is exactly 1500 gr., the 140ig 1180gr. Both xl. Nonetheless, love them both! -
@chbronsonx That sort of stacks up, given the impregnation of dye from the overdying...

@chbronsonx yeah man I’m sure this does feel lighter compared to those. My other jacket is a 14oz type 3 and this is much more substantial for me.

@Oaktavia me too. We got snow Tuesday which is crazy for here. Think it’s been like 10 years since it snowed here. The high is 42 today though.
