Picked this up in preparation for some cooler weather and I’m really happy with it. Ended up with a medium and it fits perfectly. I’m usually a large in UHF’s. Now just waiting on the mercury to drop.

I wanted to snug my medium hoodie up a bit so I did a little shrink experiment. Washed on hot, heavy agitation and machine dried. Turned out perfect and actually got a little more shrinkage than I expected. Thought this might be helpful for some. Apologies for the handwriting…

@IH crew : How is length measured for this product ? I see the "how we measure" is for a T...is the "base of the collar" here the end of the zipper let's say when the sweat is fully zipped up ? Thx !

@Slash We measure hoodies with the zipper done up, from the base of the hood (the seem where the hood attaches), to the bottom of the opening.

Anyone else experienced this? Must be from the leather zip toggle, didn’t even cross my mind to remove it before washing for the first time.
@AdamJ @Alex Iron Heart Crew any ideas on the best way to get this stain out? Few other spots on the hoodie also.

@Cheddar_threads : Hey man, not IH crew, but to try to help you finding what the stains might come from, I must say I'm not sure it's from the leather.

I did the same as you by forgetting the strap for my first wash, but basically the only result was that the leather strap was completely dry. Would be strange that leather would do this since all jeans patch are leather.

Not sure how you got this though...but I would first try to re-wash it simply if not done already

I will be curious to see other pictures of this hoodie on people with the hood on, a few of the pictures look like it lifts up on the shoulders, kind of making a little bit of a tent. I think the worst offender of this are the hoodies from the strike gold, and the best examples of how a hoodie should fit to me are still the flat head. I will be curious to see more pictures. It seems like they design a bit of a neck into the flathead hoodie hood that makes it sit differently on the shoulders and around your neck when the hood up.

Hey @Cheddar_threads I just wanted to confirm that this doesn't look like something that the leather tag would cause.

I would for sure check for rust as @goosehd suggested.

Did you wear it under a denim jacket with a freshly oiled leather patch?

@Freeman Thanks for the response, it was machine washed by itself. I regularly do whites washes in the same machine with no issue, then line dried (no dryer). I am yet to rewash it.
I checked the machine after when I noticed the stains for anything that could have caused it, nothing which made me query the leather toggle? I’ll rewash it & see what happens
