At one time, I had given thought to pursuing a degree. But, I'm a fitter, and far too realistic to live in utopia...

@Mizmazzle - for the Nets game on Sunday, I bought tickets from the UK for my son and myself. The crowd was kinda sparse until the later stages when the place magically filled up - but there were still empty seats.
Due to the rain in NYC yesterday we (the fam) decided to do the MSG stadium tour which was great. I knew there was a game that evening (short schedule NBA Cup game) but my daughter surprisingly asked if we could get tickets. We asked at the ticket office but the only available were high up behind one end - so not great. We then checked out the Ticketmaster Resale and got 2 pairs in the same block. There were plenty of free seats at the start but they soon filled up - much earlier than on Sunday.
No love lost for Trae Young that’s for sure, but then he did get his own back after starting poorly…he owned the second half…and the crowd, unfortunately.
I have now seen 5 major sporting events in the US and yet to see a home win. I’m available for hire to sort out the NFL Pool!!!

@Mizmazzle - we were just sat round listing everything we’ve done so far, and it’s been a lot, rain notwithstanding. The only fail has been going 91 stories up Summit One into a complete white out.
Helicopter today made up for it though…
Loving that we’re close enough to the holidays for things to be festive around the city, but not too close to be cloying…just yet.

Today I visited the Valhalla of boots, Wesco. It just amazes me that this little town of Scappoose, Oregon is revered around the globe. I’m gonna pull the trigger on a custom fitting and wait the 12 months for a pair.

@goosehd Minor league hockey games are so much fun! I’ve been to a handful of San Diego Gulls games back when I lived there. Always a blast! Next year I want to take my son out to a minor league baseball game. The Round Rock Express are the Texas Rangers minor league team here in Austin, TX.

@Danimal506 I love watching minor league baseball. In fact, most sports I would rather watch minor league’s and collegiate.
That will be awesome for you and your son. My first baseball game still holds special memories for me

@Danimal506 if you want to check out some hockey the Texas Stars, Dallas’ AHL farm team, plays out of HEB Center in Cedar Park. Always a good time.

@WhiskeySandwich My wife and I call that a "snow moon" but I'm not sure if it has a real name. Maybe we should create a thread for interesting things like this. I have an idea for one. I'll do a little digging and see if one exists yet, and I'll report back.
