Going with measurements for the win!
It’s a good day when UPS delivers early and the shirt ordered fits perfectly. I have to admit that I was a bit concerned about sizing after hearing about people who sized down and had problems.

Given the apparent demand for this shirt, I'm surprised that Berkeley Supply in Denver still as all sizes available. Here's the link:

@Giles After you suggested I sign up for an email notification, I went to the product page to do just that. There happened to be one L in stock which must have gone back into the inventory after a return, because every other size was completely sold out. I pulled the trigger immediately! Thank you for the offer to grab one in Japan. That's really kind of you.

They have one medium and one XXL. Check your watch.

I went with my regular western size and think it is the right fit. The measurements were accurate according to the size chart. Despite the chest being about an 1 inch larger than the rest of my westerns it still did not feel larger than them, still very comfortable and did not feel oversized. The shirt has some nice drape/weight to it while still feeling soft, fall/winter vibes
