IHSH-398-CAM - 11oz Corduroy Western Shirt - Camel
-
Did not size down because of sleeve length and shoulders. Chest says 48, when I’m a 44, but it feels like a 44/45 - happy I stuck with the XL… pondering the white one

@indigostiff looks like a perfect fit!

Sized down from my nominal UHF size, as the measurements lined up about perfectly in the shoulders/chest. Regrets galore; as others have noted, the armholes are very high, and make for the underarm area being uncomfortably snug, and I wouldn't even characterize myself as having large/broad shoulders or chest. Very frustrating how many times I have lost the guess-your-size-based-on-the-measurements game vs. how much effort I have put into getting that right.

@A-eye-Kev I feel for ya. Some have successfully sized down without any problems while others not so lucky. I went by the measurements and that fell a size down from my usual size. I won’t know until Monday when the shirt is scheduled to arrive, but my fingers are crossed.

Got my usual size and this is the way to go. GREAT shirt. fit is superb.
-
@Denman-John I also sized down from L to M and it has the perfect fit! I will cross my fingers for you!
-
I went from large to medium and it fits well ,large would have been too big.
-
@Denman-John Thank you, sir; I will think positive thoughts for you in the hopes you have a better experience!

If anyone is hunting a XXL, we have one left.

@Denman-John I'm in between a M and L in most IH shirts. I think all of my western UHF's are a Medium for reference. Originally got this in a Medium, but sent it back for a Large. The Medium certainly worked, and I think if you looked at me wearing it, it would not appear that it was too tight and or didn't fit. I just felt it a bit snugger than I like in the arms and arm pits. Figured for $400 I better get it right, and in all likelihood am sadly not getting thinner with age......

After going from Large to XL, you made the right move. Dinner soon, dude.

@Spencer35 I went by the measurements so I’m expecting it to fit. Time will tell …

Going with measurements for the win! It’s a good day when UPS delivers early and the shirt ordered fits perfectly. I have to admit that I was a bit concerned about sizing after hearing about people who sized down and had problems.

@Denman-John yeah man!! Looks great on ya!
