I disagree with that. It’s not a cumulative award: you either deserve to win each game individually or you don’t. If the thinking is that one would think their chances of winning are greater based on how they’ve played, I’d agree. But they play the games for a reason.

@mclaincausey true, although that will be the narrative that is pushed. It's the beauty of knockout games. In a best of 5/7 I'd go with Spain, in an elimination game anything can happen. So fingers crossed for an England win.

I’m glad I got up at 4am to go to the pub to watch it not glad about the result
Will say though 5.30am beers on a Monday morning were surprisingly good, wouldn’t make it a weekly thing though

@JamesB @Nocturama could be worse - my brother is a Celtic fan and travelled to Germany to see them mauled 7-1 by Dortmund.
That said, he had a brilliant time and couldn’t speak highly enough of the Dortmund fans.

Anyone in here thinking the same as me or am I the only one? is the Premiership very boring to watch as a neutral? My team is in the Championship and looks like any game could go either way, you can beat top of the league one week and the next loose to bottom of the league, just don't know what will happen next!! Whereas the Premiership is all pass round the back, bore the other team into making mistake and take advantage And don't get me started on the way they fall to the ground like absolute wimps then get up as if nothing happened! love to know your thoughts

After watching Cardiff v Luton on Tuesday I am excited to be watching a match of similar standard tomorrow.

That is not exclusive to the Premier League, and one of the reasons I don't enjoy watching football as much as I used to. I'd rather watch an ice hockey game
