@ARNC if you enjoy the music and would like to go, let me know what dates work for you 🙂

If you haven't heard them already, the black midi songs that most resemble his solo output are probably Marlene Dietrich, 27 Questions and The Defence.

@T4920 sorry, I was meaning more generally. I don’t think any of the published GG dates will work for me, unfortunately.

@GraemeE oh man that’s great…can you imagine sitting in that circle and the guitar gets passed to you? Gulp I love the album he ended up putting that song on and I play “Hometown Blues” a ton. Thanks for posting this.

Fruition’s new one “How to Make Mistakes” is brilliant. Three amazing singers/songwriters who harmonize so well in so many ways with each other.

@SKT I just love them. Each of the songwriters is unique, talented, and has something to say, and the way they work together and support each other is remarkable.

Any Bodeans fans here. Saw them this past weekend at The Bearsville Theatre,in Bearsville, which Is a small town just west of Woodstock,NY. This video isn’t from my show, but it’s exactly what they sounded like. Been following them since 1986 when they came out.

@SKT If you by any chance watched a Netflix TV show called The Ranch, they used their music sporadically. And they had the theme song to the TV show Party of Five…Closer to Free. They’re still really big in Wisconsin and probable the biggest band to ever come out of that state. They currently reside in Austin TX.

@SKT Full disclosure. The only one left from the original band is the singer/songwriter Kurt Neumann. No matter what they've done they always sound like The Bodeans.

I saw them in London on The Fragile tour with Atari Teenage Riot when I was about 15/16 and used to go to shows with a crew of guys in the year above me at school and totally did not appreciate it at the time 😞

On of those bands that I would pay good money to see at a big venue again for sure.
